Harnesses and shock absorbers are highly rated – meeting the requirements of AS1891.1 – all harnesses also proof loaded prior to packaging and have 140 kg capacity. The kit is 100% visually inspected prior to packaging. The Spanset 6001SA Spectre Roofers Kit is ideally suited for work on most roofs when used in conjunction with appropriate anchorage. We recommend all users be fully conversant with competencies for working at height contained in AS/NZ 1891.4.
The SpanSet Roof Worker Tradie Kit is designed to reduce the impact and distance of a fall, complying with AS/NZS 1891.1:2020 and AS 1891.5:2020 standards.
Kit Components & Usage Instructions:
1. 1100 SPECTRE Harness: Don the SPECTRE Full Body Harness. This harness serves as the body holding device and features front fall-arrest loops for attachment.
2. 3506 Attachment Strap: Identify a suitable structural element and secure the '3506' Attachment Strap to create a safe anchor point.
3. 3108 Anchorage Line: Connect the 15m Anchorage Line to your anchor. This line is equipped with an adjuster and an energy absorber to manage fall forces.
4. Secure Connection: Attach the anchorage line to your harness using the high-strength 'K4' 40kN Steel Triple Action Karabiner, ensuring the gate is locked securely.
The "Tradie Kit" (6001SA-SPECTRE-0) offers a robust solution for professionals requiring compliant safety gear for roof work. It includes the essential "Anchor, Connector, Harness" system required for safe work at heights.
